How it works: D-Mannose is a naturally occurring sugar found in fruits such as cranberries, apples, and peaches. Unlike glucose, most D-Mannose is not used by the body as an energy source. Instead, it passes through the urinary tract, where it helps support urinary tract cleanliness by reducing the ability of certain bacteria, such as E. coli, to adhere to the bladder wall.
